Next to the Captain’s Quarters, Cabin 1 is the only other room in the Living Quarters requiring a Door Code – which we found in a PDA in the Locker Room.Ĭabin 1 contains a couple of scannable furniture items that we have not yet encountered: the Wall Shelves and the Basic Double Bed. Captain’s QuartersĪt this stage of the game we don’t yet have the door code for the Captain’s Quarters, so don’t bother looking around for it in the Aurora. This door with burning debris in front of it can’t be opened. In addition to the Keep Calm Kitty Poster in the Canteen, three other posters can be found in this area: Two different Prawn Suit Posters plus a Natural Selection II Poster.Ī few scattered fires are blocking doorways in this area. Scattered through the cabins are basic supplies (water, first aid, batteries) as well as PDAs with intimate details of the crews’ personal lives. The beds can be scanned for blueprints, and this is the only location in the game where the Carry All (a black duffel bag that can store items) can be acquired. Code to Cabin 1: in the Locker room (can't remember if shelf of lockers by the wall, or one of the lockers across the middle). With the exception of Cabin 1 and the Captain’s Quarters, most of the crew cabins in the Living Quarters are fairly similar. Code to lab: PDA near the lab, in the generator room. Moving on past the Canteen, the hallway branches left and right. Scannable items in this room include Bar Tables, Trash Cans, a Vending Machine, and Countertop.īehind the bar the Keep Calm kitty poster can be found, with the menu PDA sitting on the bar nearby. Though optional, it’s much easier to explore the Canteen if the fires are put out. The Canteen contains several scannable pieces of furniture, the Keep Calm Poster (found only here,) as well as a PDA containing the Canteen’s menu. The Supply Room contains a few Nutrient Blocks as well as several bottles of Filtered Water. Starting from the upper catwalk in the Prawn Bay, the Living Quarters can be found at the end of this hallway after passing the Supply Room and the Canteen. The door cannot be opened, and attempts to teleport into the room failed, showing that the room is just a solid block with nothing inside.The next area that we’re going to explore is the Living Quarters. The fire on the catwalk does not damage the player – nor can it be extinguished. It’s possible to teleport onto the catwalk using the following command: warp 1003 9 7 ![]() I tested this myself using teleport commands. Rest assured, the room is just for decoration. (See the blue arrow in the photo above.) You may be tempted to try to reach this door, given the pile of crates nearby that could be stacked to climb up. You may notice an elevated room that is attached to the wall on the same side of the Prawn Bay where you entered through the sealed door. Climbing the Ramp to Living QuartersĪlthough this ramp can be cleared of debris using the Propulsion Cannon, it’s also quite easy to just walk up the bent metal beam and onto the crates without moving anything.Ĭontinue walking across the crates and follow the catwalk to the right. Only 4 suits need be scanned to complete the Prawn Suite blueprint. With the fire out of the way, the Prawn Bay door can be repaired and opened. Putting out the nearby fire will ensure a more comfortable experience. The door leading into the Prawn Bay needs to be repaired with the Repair Tool in order to open it. The locker room contains some basic supplies as well as a couple of PDAs – one of which contains the door code for Cabin #1 in the Living Quarters.Īt the far end of the Locker room is a hallway leading to the Prawn Bay. To the left of the hallway that leads to the Drive Room is the one that leads to the Locker Room.Īt the end of the hallway is a Sealed Door that has to be cut open with the Laser Cutter. This guide is part of our series “ Subnautica: Exploring the Aurora.” Getting Into the Locker Room The Locker Room contains the door code needed for one of the cabins in the Living Quarters, and the Prawn Bay holds our primary objective: More than enough Prawn Suit fragments to complete the Prawn Suit blueprint. The next two areas in our exploration of the Aurora spacecraft are the Locker Room and the Prawn Bay.
